Hoosick Falls considers eliminating dispatch system
HOOSICK FALLS, N.Y. -- Village Mayor Matthew Monahan told the board that the village is considering eliminating its dispatch system and relying on the county 911 system to save roughly $150,000 in the budget. A preliminary version of the budget is due in March. He said 60 members of the public attended a meeting at the Hoosick Falls Senior Center on Thursday to discuss the matter.
