The Fairfield Community Center Association has an immediate opening for a program manager. This part time job will be based in our Community Center in East Fairfield. The FCCA program manager will collaborate with our office administrator, board of directors, bookkeeper, volunteers and other part time staff. Primary duties will be overseeing our food shelf and meal programs, and youth programs as well as establishing new programs and fundraising. The ideal individual will be organized, self-directed, and enjoy working with the public and the many volunteers which keep our center running. Work will include planning and advertising events and programs, grant writing and reporting, program budget oversight, and fundraising. Skills with Social Media a plus. The FCCA is a 501c3 non-profit organization which, for over 26 years, has been providing services for youth, seniors, families and individuals in our local community. Our Mission is to meet the ever-changing needs of families and individuals. We provide social, health, and educational programs for all ages in a safe, caring, and nurturing environment to create, promote, and enhance the well-being of all members of our community. We operate on a small annual budget supported by funding from the towns of Fairfield and Bakersfield, donations from local individuals and businesses, grants, concerts and other fundraising events.
