Corpwell Foundation
Overview of Organization
CorpWell Foundation is a Vermont-based nonprofit organization operating at the intersection of historic preservation, education, and community well-being. Founded in the early 2000s, the Foundation’s mission is to “leave significant tracts for the future” — preserving historic places so they can continue to serve the people, stories, and communities they were built for.
The Foundation works with historic and underutilized buildings through structural assessments, grant procurement, community visioning, and restoration. Current projects include Chapel 1871 in Clarendon, Vermont, and the Sea Captain Foster Homestead in Brewster, Massachusetts. The Foundation also develops innovative community-based programming, including the OASIS model supporting older adults aging in community.
CorpWell Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees and led by an Executive Director. The organization is funded through grants, private donations, and philanthropic partnerships.
