Our Mission
The Carving Studio & Sculpture Center inspires people of all ages to create three-dimensional art on the grounds of Vermont's historic West Rutland marble quarries.

Our Vision: The Carving Studio & Sculpture Center will be a year-round program of workshops, residencies and exhibitions with studio space that accommodates large and small-scale sculptural expression.
Our Mission: The Carving Studio & Sculpture Center's programs and facilities will attract local, national and international artists. The vitality of the Carving Studio & Sculpture Center's programs will engender financial support from program participants, memberships, friends and local and national art organizations.

Position Overview

We have a very active board with many skillsets in arts, media, and governance. We are spread across several states and are seeking Vermont residents who with energy and knowledge in finance and fund development. An appreciation of the arts, and of the traditional, historical nature of stone carving is a plus.
