Position Overview

The Twin States Network is seeking new Board members. Our Board meets once a month virtually. Most of our Board has personal connections to HIV, either through family and friends or their personal journey. That being said, we would also welcome health care providers (particularly from Infectious Disease or Mental Health backgrounds) as well as anyone with experience in Finance, Fundraising, Advocacy or Legal matters.
At Twin States Network, we welcome the whole individual. Each of our clients meets regularly with a TSN staff person who is living with HIV to discuss ways to improve their health and wellbeing. In addition to this one-on-one support, we offer support groups – and small grants for fitness or transportation-related expenses.  We also come to community events, bringing with us  educational materials and, in our fight to end stigma, a message of acceptance.

Desired Skills: General Board Governance, Nonprofit Financials, Fundraising/Development, Legal, HR, Marketing/Communications, Advocacy/Policy, Strategy/Business Planning
