Look no further! Common Good VT is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for this year’s Nonprofit Management (NPM) Certificate Program.

This program dives into the core competencies of nonprofit management and emerging nonprofit issues. It is designed for active practitioners and leaders in the nonprofit sector and covers content that is relevant, applicable, and meaningful. Whether you are currently in a leadership position or new to our vibrant nonprofit community, this program is for you!

Samantha Davidson Green, Executive Director at Junction Arts & Media in White River Junction, VT and a participant in last year’s cohort agrees: “ The Common Good Vermont Nonprofit Management Certificate Program provided an incredible opportunity to network with other Vermont nonprofit leaders, develop a diverse range of critical management skills, and access high-quality resources to improve our organizational practices from fundraising to HR to creating a more inclusive workplace.  The CGVT staff were very responsive, and sessions were designed to fit into busy nonprofit managers’ lives.  It was a deeply enriching experience with lasting benefits.”

In its fifth year as an independent, virtual program, the NPM Certificate is Vermont’s longest-standing training program for nonprofit leaders and the only program of its kind. Participants will engage with content through a mix of self-guided learning, bi-weekly virtual classes, and cohort discussions and connections. Our list of trainers and speakers includes some of Vermont’s leading nonprofit consultants, funders, and policymakers who support Vermont’s nonprofit sector. This year’s program will start on October 6th and meet online bi-weekly through January 2025.
