KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Dana Jeffery
Grant Manager
Ben & Jerry’s Foundation
Dana Jeffery is Grants Manager for the Ben & Jerry’s Foundation, an independent private foundation providing grant opportunities to organizations within Vermont and across the United States and its territories. As the virtuoso of the Foundation’s grants system, and all things coordination between the Ben & Jerry’s Employee Committees (the Foundation’s grant making bodies) and the esteemed organizations that seek funding, Dana believes that everyone can make a difference for the better and thrives on assisting and supporting others as they seek justice for their communities. Dana joined the Foundation staff in 2010 after serving on the Employee Grant Making Committee for 5 years. Dana hails originally from Australia and brings a unique perspective to her work at the Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation team, she worked at the Ben & Jerry’s Waterbury plant initially as a production worker and then as a Senior Tour Host. Dana’s passion for servant leadership in her work comes from her extensive history of working in the hospitality sector prior to her time at Ben & Jerry’s and aligns with the Foundation’s efforts to incorporate Trust Based Philanthropy practices.
