Common Good Vermont is pleased to partner on this event hosted by the Provider’s Council.
To engage employees, managers need more than technical and functional skills. They need more than processes and mandated check-ins.
The most effective and highly esteemed managers know that their job is about both managing work AND leading people. They develop the skills that set them apart and unleash engagement. In this 90-minute workshop, we’ll focus on the specific skills that managers rely on to unleash the 3 E’s of Employee Engagement:
- Enablement
- Ennoblement
- Empowerment
We’ll also talk about the HR practices and company-wide mixed messages that inadvertently inhibit engagement.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Create clarity about management priorities;
- Cascade communication;
- Get everyone “rowing in the same direction;”
- Encourage managers to handle day-to-day feedback and performance management; and
- Get all voices in on decision-making and problem-solving.
This program is valid for 1.5 PDCs for the SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP®. For more information about certification or recertification, please visit www.shrmcertification.org.
