Common Good Vermont is pleased to share this event hosted by Steps to End Domestic Violence.

The Trauma Informed Workplace Training Series is a quarterly virtual training and learning space. It is designed for participants to gain knowledge about trauma informed practices in the workplace, connect with other service providers, and bring ideas and inspiration back to their organization. Each two hour training will include discussion, conversation, and space to share wisdom among participants. This is an opportunity to build relationships and seek out insight from others, to share your organization’s successes, and to identify challenges and areas of focus.
These trainings are open to staff in social service organizations and nonprofits, regardless of program or area of focus. The topics discussed will be especially relevant for those in leadership or supervisory roles, including direct service staff, program coordinators, and human resources managers.
Apri’s topic is Exploring Organizational Culture. In this training we will:
  • Define organizational culture, discuss its impact on staff retention, morale, and service provision, and explore what your workplace culture looks like
  • Identify workplace norms/values and reflect on priorities for change
  • Discuss strategies, approaches, and challenges to changing organizational culture

This training is offered free of charge – donations are always appreciated!
