TRUST. It may be a touchy topic… But it’s an important one. The elephant in the room is often the result of mistrust. You know, the kind that lingers and festers and ultimately impacts employee engagement.
But addressing a lack of trust can make things even worse. So we avoid the subject altogether and allow the elephant (and low engagement) to drag down morale, productivity, and results.
It doesn’t have to be that way! In this 90-minute workshop, we’ll introduce The 12 Dimensions of Trust, as well as some eye-opening data about what it takes for organizations and managers to be trusted by employees. Employee engagement is strongly linked to employee perceptions about the trustworthiness of management, so it’s important to identify and address these gaps, too.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Conduct candid conversations that preserve and restore trust;
- Understand what’s going on when there’s a vague sense of mistrust;
- Build 2-way trust and a culture founded in mutual respect; and
- Bridge gaps between people and/or departments who don’t see eye-to-eye.
