This event is hosted by the Vermont Council on Rural Development:
As we come together in response to the devastating floods Vermont has experienced, it will be important to connect with each other to understand and address the emerging needs in our communities and on our farms and landscape.
It will also be important to understand resources as they become available and connect to state, regional, and federal partners to move forward together. This session will bring together community members and response and recovery leaders to share the needs and challenges that are emerging, early resources that may be helpful, and examples of what is working in their communities as they respond and recover. Panelists will share their experiences and best practice suggestions and then we will turn to participants to engage in a statewide discussion to identify current needs and pathways forward.
