$2.4M in Grants to Help Reduce Vermont’s Carbon Footprint

To encourage more Vermonters to drive electric, the state is offering $2.4 million in grants to expand Vermont’s network of charging stations. The program prioritizes projects in state designated downtowns and village centers, highway corridors, public transit stops, major tourist destinations, colleges and universities, hospitals, public park-and-rides, workplaces, and multi-unit housing. Governments, businesses, individuals, nonprofits, homeowner associations, electric utilities, and equipment providers are eligible to apply. Grant applications are due November 30.
