Development Coordinator (Fractional)
Part-time; 10hrs/week

Empty Arms Vermont is seeking a motivated, collaborative Development professional to join our team. Empty Arms Vermont supports families who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss through peer support groups, events, and other services. EAVT is building a strong foundation for the future; a well-rounded development team will serve the organization by ensuring consistent funding through giving and grants. The Development Coordinator will be responsible for fundraising, event planning, and other activities with the goal of increasing revenue and raising awareness for the organization. The Development Coordinator is also responsible for ensuring that all of our valued donors experience high quality interactions with EAVT.

You’d be a great fit for this role if you are a self-motivated individual with a high level of integrity for your work. Efficient in the workplace and attentive to details, our ideal candidate is goal-oriented and enjoys accomplishing tasks that lead directly to results. Because Empty Arms supports families through periods of grief, we are looking for someone who is outgoing and personable, yet sensitive and patient. Great writing skills are required and previous experience working in Development or for other nonprofits, grant writing, or donor outreach is a plus. We welcome candidates who are open to learning new skills, sharing their expertise with us, and can offer flexibility in their daily tasks.
