Events, Marketing and Publications Manager

Join the Development and Communications team to plan and execute strategies that increase philanthropic support and awareness of the agency and its mission and support programmatic initiatives. This position will develop and execute events, marketing strategies, and publications that support the Agency’s focus on service delivery and access to services, advocacy, community education, and fundraising and donor engagement in alignment with the Agency’s strategic plan. Additionally, this position will support the development of the department’s annual plan, track and analyze data and outcomes for all projects, evaluate return on investment (ROI), and develop reporting functions that align with industry best practices.

Candidates should have three years of experience in non-profit event, marketing, and publication management, including demonstrated writing, content development, and project management skills; a commitment to Howard Center’s mission; excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to work on a fast-paced team and regularly meet deadlines; experience with current technology solutions, including social media platforms, donor engagement platforms, Zoom, event registration, WordPress, and Microsoft Office 365; and experience with fundraising and development activities is preferred.

Some evening and weekend work is required. Schedule includes both onsite and remote work, after an initial training period. Full-time, benefits eligible position.
