KidSafe Collaborative is a small non-profit partnership agency based in Burlington whose mission is to engage organizations and individuals to work together to improve our community’s prevention of and response to child abuse and neglect. KidSafe Collaborative is hiring a part-time Development and Administrative Assistant to support staff and help with administrative and operational needs in office. The Development and Administrative Assistant will report to the Development Coordinator and support fundraising efforts for the organization along with our general office needs.

Location: On-Site

Hours: 15 hours a week.

Salary: 22-24 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Ongoing Organizational Support

·        Email and correspondences: direct calls and emails to the appropriate staff members.

·        Process incoming and outgoing office mail.

·        Document incoming donations and generate deposits to be brought to the bank.

·        Make sure donations, deposit records, payables, and donor correspondence are scanned and filed when needed.

·        Assist during Board of Directors and Board Committee meetings

·        Provide office support, including coordinating with landlords, vendors, and staff at the direction of Assistant or Executive Director

·        Assist with additional duties as necessary


Development Support

·        Assist with data management and donation tracking in the Little Green Light database. Training provided.

·        Support sending donor communications, including proofreading and coordinating with the Director for signatures.

·        Assist with event planning, including coordinating logistics, managing RSVPs, and preparing materials.



Preferred Skills/Experience:

·        Experience using a CRM, familiarity with databases, or demonstrated success with learning new software programs

·        Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat

·        Strong writing and communication skills

·        Organizational and time management skills

·        Experience note-taking

·        Ability to engage with diverse groups of people
