Objective:

  • Support lending team by efficiently working across all lending products
  • Collaborate with lending team to review, complete, and process applications
  • Perform diverse duties as needed in a collaborative environment and as part of a small team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Courteous communication with customers throughout the loan process
  • Review loan applications for accuracy; identify missing documents/information; follow up with the customer; create efficient and effective loan process
  • Follow consistent process in order to maintain loan file integrity
  • Manage loan closing calendar and request loan funding within service level agreements
  • Provide support to other team members including general administrative tasks

Experience and Education:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in lending, banking or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a customer service role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
  • Proficient with technology and learning new software systems.
  • High School Diploma or GED

Other Expectations:

  • Primarily in office with remote work options
  • Ongoing continuing education to stay current with best practices in CDFI lending
  • Minimal travel expected
  • Requires repetitive movement, bending or twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, climbing and walking; sitting for extended periods of time using keyboard and computer; safely moving or lifting objects up to 40 pounds. Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls
