WE’RE HIRING! Be the Voice of Change

Are you a wordsmith who turns stories into action? Is thoughtful, impactful writing your superpower? Join North Country Alliance for Balanced Change (NCABC) and make a lasting impact on tomorrow.

About Us
Since 2018, NCABC has been fighting for clean water, fresh air, a stable climate, and thriving communities in New Hampshire. From challenging a massive landfill project to advocating for environmental justice, our team of experts leads the charge for meaningful change.

Position
We’re hiring a Grant Writer & Communications Consultant (20-40 hours/month) to:

●      Research funding opportunities, craft persuasive grant applications, and deliver professional funder reports

●      Create supporter emails, fundraising appeals, calls to action, and social media posts

●      Provide occasional administrative support to keep our mission running smoothly

This is a contractor position, not an employee position.

Stand Out from the Crowd: Experience in social media ads, email marketing, and website maintenance is a plus.

What We Value
Collaboration, flexibility, and credibility through fact-based work delivered with a respectful tone. We’re a small, passionate team where everyone makes a big impact! We build strong coalitions with allies who share our mission—even if their styles differ from ours.

Candidates should be self-motivated and able to collaborate with board members to develop strategies and adapt to feedback. Flexibility is key, as we often pivot quickly to seize unexpected opportunities with tight deadlines.

●      Pay: $65/hour with rate reviewed at 6-month check-in

●      Location: Remote-friendly, but New England-based (ideally NH) candidates preferred
