Orange County Restorative Justice Center, located in Chelsea, VT seeks a motivated and highly organized individual to serve as Coordinator of the Balanced and Restorative Justice Program for Youth, funded by VT DCF.  The position plays a key role in ensuring youth justice in Orange County through delivering an inclusive, supportive and positive youth programming.  The BARJ Coordinator works closely with the Youth Diversion Coordinator and the Victim Services Coordinator.

The overarching theme of the services offered by the Coordinator will be to offer a supportive, positive, and strengths-focused environment in which human connection and supportive guidance increases positive outcomes for program participants. The coordinator will support youth through restorative practices in addressing behavior issues, addressing harm and supporting positive community relationships.  The Coordinator will also conduct youth risk screenings and support youth in accessing and completing services related to mental health and substance misuse, finding employment, community service opportunities, and developing pro-social activities.
