Health Center Manager – Rutland, VT

Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full time (37.5hours/week) Health Center Site Manager position based out of our Rutland, VT health center. The Site Manager oversees all daily administrative and health center operations, manages and coordinates training of the health center staff, provides direct administrative & clinical back up support to staff working with patients to assist meeting their needs and reports to the executive management team on the improvement and overall functionality of the health center. Starting pay range for this position is $22/hr with potential to increase from there based on level of experience.

Primary responsibilities include increasing patient satisfaction by ensuring that the health center systems deliver minimal wait times, increasing access and a sense of personal care.  This role will also review critical indicators on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, spotting trends and planning interventions as needed and identify training needs for staff and ensure appropriate ongoing training happens.  Additional duties include using data to analyze problems and evaluate solutions, focusing on systems thinking, foster a supportive, caring & professional atmosphere and establishing relationships and network in the community to increase PPNNE’s visibility.

Qualifications include an educational diploma/certificate/degree coupled in combination with 2-3 years of health management or other related supervisory experience. Clinical skills or certification are desirable. Compensation is commensurate with the number of years of relevant experience. Ideal candidates will have experience working with people from diverse ethnic, linguistic, socioeconomic and cultural communities, as well as a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and the intersection with health and social justice. Bilingual (speak/write a second language fluently in addition to English) desired but not required.
