Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) is seeking qualified candidates for a full time 37.5hr/wk Integrated Behavioral Health Social Worker (IBHSW) position based out of Barre, VT & White River Junction, VT locations. This position will provide high quality, patient-centered, trauma-sound direct clinical, case management, advocacy and support services to patients in Planned Parenthood health centers in Vermont. IBHSW clinicians assess & treat a wide variety of patient behavioral health needs, such as depression, anxiety conditions, PTSD, substance abuse, acute stress, sexual assault, relationship difficulties, identity-related distress or needs, and patient-identified behavior change goals. Some regional and occasional state-wide travel is required.
Primary responsibilities for this role include providing same-day and scheduled services, occasional scheduled remote consultation to PPNNE health centers as needed, coordinating IBHSW referrals and care plans including team communication. IBHSW’s will also provide active engagement with community resources & partnering organizations as well as attending individual & group supervision meetings, team meetings, training events and relevant PPNNE events as a part of the IBSHW team.
Qualifications include 5+ years of relevant clinical practical experience, a current Vermont licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or out-of-state license eligible for Vermont licensure or a qualified non-social work clinical qualifications (LMHC, LMFT, PsyD etc.) with relevant professional experience in case management, emergency or crisis services, women’s, reproductive or LGBTQIA+ clinical settings.
