Vermont’s first Financial and Energy Coaching Initiative has launched!  SEVCA (Southeastern Vermont Community Action), serving the residents of Windham and Windsor counties, is seeking 1 trailblazing full-time Coach to engage Vermonters living with low and moderate incomes in reducing their climate impact while improving their financial well-being. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in personal finance and unlocking the puzzle of the programs, services, credits, and rebates that will help clients transition to cleaner, more efficient energy sources. Coaches will provide 1:1 counseling and workshops to residents in SEVCA’s service area.  Training in Association for Financial Counseling & Planning Education (AFCPE) financial counseling and energy efficiency trainings will be provided and you will work with four other Coaches across the state under the direction of the statewide Team Lead.  SEVCA offers a competitive salary and generous employee benefits including paid vacation, holidays, sick time, and personal time, health and dental insurance, and 403B retirement.   Please send resume and cover letter to: Glen Ohlund, Economic Development Director, gohlund@sevca.org
