Yes, You Can Use Zoom to Ask for Major Gifts Now – Interactive Zoom Training

$75.00

Description

The pandemic has changed how we communicate – but your donors still want to support your important work. In this highly interactive workshop we will show you how to comfortably navigate a donor solicitation using remote tools and the Connecting Conversations meeting outline.

You will leave with the skills and confidence you need to have grounded, meaningful conversations with your donors via video meeting.

Registration for this interactive training is limited to 20 participants per training and includes a pre-training activity.

Decide between 2 session dates (same material):

  • Friday – May 29th at 8:00-10:00
  • Tuesday – June 9th at 3:00-5:00 pm

Trainers:

  • Jenn Hayslett is a highly rated coach and facilitator who specializes in increasing the confidence of development professionals and board members in directly asking donors to support your organization’s important work – yes, even on a video call.
  • Angelique McAlpine is a Graphic Facilitator who uses familiar and newly emerging visual tools to design and deliver engaging and interactive meetings – especially Zoom and video meetings!

Note for Participants:

Please note, due to the participatory nature of these trainings and the limited seating, attendance is required. However, we welcome you to transfer your ticket to another person if you are unable to make the training.

The workshop is scheduled for 2 hours, but please plan on an additional half an hour at the end for “office hours” to answer your specific questions – and to have a buffer in case of tech challenges.

The trainers will send out a pre-work email that contains resources and materials for you to prepare and use during the class. Preparation will take approximately 45 minutes, including printing out materials for you to use during the class. You will receive this a few days ahead of the class.
