Celebrating Nonprofit Volunteers

Did you know it is National Volunteer Week?!

Each year we celebrate the contributions volunteers make towards advancing our missions and serving our communities. Organizations across the country have seen fewer volunteers as a result of the pandemic and federal policymakers are even considering some legislation to support volunteers. Today, join us in giving those individuals going above and beyond the recognition they deserve by recognizing #volunteerappreciationweek.

Common Good VT and United Way Northwest Vermont would like to share our appreciation for Lisa Grefe! A member of United Way’s Data Insight Team, Lisa serves alongside community members who are charged with helping us use data to evaluate and communicate the impact of our work. Lisa has been essential in supporting nonprofit data work and the Nonprofit Wages & Benefit Report. Thank you Lisa for being a volunteer and supporting Vermont’s nonprofit sector!

Celebrate #NationalVolunteerWeek

P.S. This week we celebrate volunteers, but next month our focus turns to employees. We’re excited to announce that the 2022 Nonprofit Wages & Benefits Survey is launching in May! Stay tuned…more details coming soon!
