Overview of Organization
Hope Grove Recovery, Inc. is a newly established nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safe, supportive, and empowering recovery housing for women in Franklin County, Vermont. As we build our foundation, we are seeking passionate and committed individuals to join our Board of Directors.
Hope Grove Recovery is currently in its pre-operational phase. We are actively working to establish foundational systems, secure funding, and finalize our insurance coverage. All required insurance policies will be in place prior to the organization becoming operational. This is an exciting time to join the board and help shape the future of a mission-driven organization from the ground up.

Position Overview
Hope Grove Recovery, Inc. is a newly formed nonprofit organization committed to providing safe, supportive, and empowering recovery housing for women in Franklin County, Vermont. As we continue to grow, we are seeking new board members who are passionate about our mission and eager to contribute their time, energy, and ideas.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds who:
- Believe in the power of recovery and community support
- Are interested in nonprofit leadership and governance
- Can commit to monthly meetings and active participation
- Are collaborative, mission-driven, and open to learning
Prior board experience is helpful but not required.
As a board member, you will:
- Attend monthly board meetings (in-person or virtual)
- Serve on at least one committee (Governance, Finance, or Fundraising)
- Support fundraising and community outreach efforts
- Review meeting materials and contribute to informed decision-making
- Uphold fiduciary duties of care, loyalty, and obedience
- Maintain confidentiality and disclose any conflicts of interest
Time Commitment & Term
- Approximately 4–6 hours per month
- 2-year term, with the option for renewal
