Turtle Island Children’s Center in Montpelier is seeking new members to join our volunteer Board of Directors — and it’s an exciting time to get involved!

As a board member, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of one of Montpelier’s most beloved early childhood centers. Our board brings together family members, community members, and professionals who share a deep commitment to children, families, and high-quality early learning. Together with the Turtle Team, we ensure strong governance, financial stability, and a thriving future for Turtle Island.

Board experience isn’t necessary. We’re especially looking for individuals with expertise in:

This is a meaningful and rewarding opportunity to invest in early childhood education and strengthen local childcare for years to come.

Not ready to join the full board? You can still make an impact by serving on our Development, Finance, or Facilities Committees — another great way to get involved in the work that sustains Turtle Island.
