Common Good VT is pleased to share these upcoming workshops from Vermont Story Lab!
Feeling stuck? Vermont Story Lab can help you out of your creative rut and make communications FUN again. Really. We promise.
We extend to you a storytelling invitation: Come together to collect, create, and curate to answer this question: What is our story going forward, for ourselves and our organizations?
After two-plus years of national and global turmoil, this is an opportunity to discover answers through play during an interactive in-person workshop.
- REFRESH – learn something new (collect). Expand your storytelling tools and techniques by gaining skills to takeaway, to share, and to use.
- RESTORE – revive through creative exploration (create). Play in a “story sandbox.” Dig into a tactile story-based playground for hands-on learning to push our boundaries in “challenge by choice” expressive and experiential activities.
- RENEW – ready for the return to work (curate). Pull it all together with guidance on taking these fresh perspectives and new storytelling ideas back to your daily lives to reinvigorate yourselves and your teams.
Thanks to the generous support of Vermont Humanities this lab is offered FREE to our nonprofit community. We are also grateful to the Vermont Historical Society for hosting these workshops in the Snelling Room of the Vermont History Museum (109 State St., Montpelier). Masks are required.
This lab is offered twice with a morning and an afternoon session available.
