Consulting to executive directors and senior leaders requires an awareness of the unique challenges facing senior leaders. Senior leaders are navigating both the personal elements of their leadership (i.e., vision, hopes, strengths and fears) and also the organizational aspects (ie. staff structure, navigating the board, managing staff and building team culture). How do you coach and guide executive leaders through challenges as they surface in your work together? How do you maintain awareness of their role, power and position and the way that impacts their influence and relationships with others?
In this interactive training, executive leadership coach and consultant Amanda Silver will discuss top leadership challenges facing senior leaders and ways that you can use coaching to address them. You will learn the GROW coaching framework for initiating coaching conversations and look at how assessing skill, will, and power can help you adapt your coaching style to meet your client where they are at.
The session will include small group breakouts; large group discussion, self-reflection; and introduction of tools and frameworks you can apply immediately.
