We’ll learn about different ways to advocate, become familiar with the legislative process and gain tips and strategies for engaging with policymakers. Whether you are new to advocacy or in need of a refresher, this webinar will help you get oriented for the legislative session.
Part 2: Communicating with Policymakers for Nonprofits
After historic turnover, about one in three members of the VT Legislature are new to their elected positions. With so many new faces, relationship building is more important now than ever. Nonprofits have an opportunity to educate new and returning policymakers about their missions and raise the profile of the sector.
