Parents in Recovery Program Coordinator Job Description

The Parents in Recovery Program Coordinator’s main role is to support participants in recovery who have children. The coordinator will work directly with the Executive Director and Associate Director to adhere to funding requirements and organizational policies and practices. This position is full time and is eligible for the Center employee benefits package which includes 80% paid health, 100% paid dental and vision, 100% paid short-term disability insurance and Employee Assistance Provider at no cost. TPCCC provides 11 paid holidays, 10 paid vacation days, separate accrued sick/personal paid time off. TPCCC offers reimbursement for use of personal technology and devices. Hourly wage range $27-29. The position is primarily in-person and is a recognized service provider within Dept. of Health, Office of Professional Regulations. TPCCC is an EOE, all individuals in recovery are welcome to apply.
Main Responsibilities
Coordinate, implement, and deliver direct recovery support services to Parents in Recovery Program participants and facilitate recovery groups (minimum of 2/mo.) specific to grant criteria eligible persons.
Develop and disseminate information about the Parents in Recovery Program to community organizations, in media, and through public relations.
Develop and assist referral pathways to and from partner agencies/services for program participants.
Identify additional local recovery supports and connect program participants, as needed (i.e., harm reduction, prenatal services, VDH-DSUP Treatment Guide and Directory, telephone recovery support services, etc.).
Connect program participants with recovery coach services and provide recovery coach services to participants; recruit eligible participants to benefit from TPCCC services; hire, manage, and supervise any subordinate parent recovery coaches assigned to the program.
Track and report monthly data and progress; routinely provide reports to TPCCC director, community partner agencies, and represent the program in monthly coalition meetings.
Complete all grant deliverables as required.
Undertake other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge and understanding of pregnant and parenting people in the recovery community and the ability to develop trust and identify with participants and community resource providers
An outgoing personality to encourage participants and partner organizations to work with TPCCC services.
The ability to multi-task and work independently to carry out project activities and objectives.
Good organizational skills and proactive decision making
The position carries a preference for an individual who is a parent and who has continuous recovery from all substances for at least 3-years.
