Common Good Vermont Director Announces Departure

Common Good Vermont’s Director announces her departure and program transition:

A Message from the Director

After having been a part of Common Good Vermont for close to nine years, I am writing to share that as of this Fall I will be departing as the Director.

It has been an honor to serve our sector and to play a critical role in advancing the vital work nonprofits do for our community. Common Good Vermont has weathered various transitions, and I am proud to have navigated them alongside such resilient and committed staff, volunteers, and partners.

This decision has not been an easy one as my husband and I have decided to move out of state to be closer to family in the Carolinas. While I look forward to this new chapter, leaving Vermont and this work is undoubtedly bittersweet.

The position is officially open for applications (through September 8th) and I trust that Common Good Vermont will find a dedicated nonprofit leader who will lead our work into its next transformative phase. This transition will be an opportunity for continued growth and innovation in service to the sector!

My official exit timeline is set for October, allowing us ample time for proper farewells and celebrations. I am eager to spend these next few months planning ahead, reflecting on our accomplishments, and ensuring a smooth transition for our work and our next Director.

With heartfelt appreciation and warm regards,

Morgan Webster

Director, Common Good Vermont
