This program dives into the core competencies of nonprofit management and emerging nonprofit issues. It is designed for active practitioners and leaders in the nonprofit sector and covers content that is relevant, applicable, and meaningful. Whether you are currently in a leadership position or new to in Northern New England’s vibrant nonprofit community, this program is for you!

Pam Green, Executive Director of Adaptive Sports at Mount Snow and a past participant in the program agrees, sharing that “I put many of the tools to use right away and continue to use them. It was great to be able to connect with people in the same job role at other organizations in Vermont. I highly recommend this course to anyone working in a nonprofit whether you are just starting out or have been there for years.”

In its fourth year as an independent, virtual program, the NPM Certificate is Vermont’s longest-standing training program for nonprofit leaders and the only program of its kind. Participants will engage with content through a mix of self-guided learning, bi-weekly virtual classes, and cohort discussions and connections. Our list of trainers and speakers includes some of Vermont’s leading nonprofit consultants, funders, and policymakers who support Vermont’s nonprofit sector. This year’s program will start on October 6th and meet online bi-weekly through January.
