Behind every strong organization is an HR professional helping teams grow, navigate change, and build a workplace where people can do their best work. SHRM Vermont is now accepting nominations for the Dolly Shaw Human Resources Professional of the Year and Emerging HR Professional of the Year awards.
Think about the HR professionals who make an impact on your organization. From supporting employees through challenges to leading strategic initiatives and driving positive change, HR leaders often make an impact that extends far beyond their job titles. If someone in your organization comes to mind, now is the perfect time to recognize their contributions by nominating them.
Award Categories
- Dolly Shaw Human Resources Professional of the Year
Honors experienced HR professionals (typically 10+ years in the field) who demonstrate exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, innovation, and organizational impact.
- Emerging HR Professional of the Year
Recognizes rising HR professionals with fewer than 10 years of experience who are already making meaningful contributions through fresh ideas, initiative, and results.
Why Nominate?
A nomination is a positive way to acknowledge the contributions of HR professionals who often work behind the scenes to support employees, strengthen culture, and advance organizational goals.
Award recipients will be recognized at the SHRM Vermont State Conference on September 24th and 25th, 2026, in Burlington, alongside HR leaders from across the state.
