From the Northwest & Central Vermont Prevention Network:
We are excited to share the attached Request for Proposal (RFP) inviting organizations to apply for funding for substance misuse prevention during the period of July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026.
These funds are provided by the Vermont Department of Health (VDH) Division of Substance Use Programs (DSU) and have been awarded through a grant to United Way of Northwest Vermont (United Way). United Way is serving as the Lead Prevention Organization (LPO) for DSU’s Region 1, which includes the Barre, Burlington, and St. Albans Health Districts.
Please note the important dates listed in the RFP. One key date to highlight is the Question & Answer Session scheduled for Friday, March 28, from 11:30am – 12:30pm. This virtual session will be held via Microsoft Teams, and the link can be found in the RFP. ***Please send questions in advance to [email protected].
An FAQ will be available on the Northwest & Central Vermont Prevention Network website after the session.
The deadline for applications is April 11th at 5:00 p.m.
We encourage you to share this opportunity widely with your networks and with any organizations focused on substance misuse prevention in these health districts.
