From the Land Access and Opportunity Board:
In collaboration with the Vermont Department of Health and 211, the Land Access and Opportunity Board is working to better understand which case management/data systems and resource guides are being used by housing advocates and navigators, how effective those systems are in practice, and what challenges or needs exist.
We are looking for the participation of direct service workers in compensated focus groups and surveys — the results will be used in program design recommendations for the Land Access and Opportunity Board’s Secure Housing Program and shared through our reports and recommendations to the State of Vermont.
To support our work, we are pleased to offer two different options to engage:
- An online survey which will enter you in a raffle to win one of four $50 visa gift cards (10 minutes). This online survey will run from September 14 – 23rd.
- A 90- Minute virtual focus group (limited to 5 participants), compensated at $200 each. This focus group will take place online on September 23rd, from noon – 1:30 pm.
- Or, attend one of three in-person focus groups (limited to 5 participants), compensated at $200 each, meals provided. The dates and locations are as follows:
- Bennington Free Library, Bennington – Tuesday, September 15, 2026, noon-1:30 pm
- Richard Kemp Center, Burlington – Friday, September 18, 2026, noon-1:30 pm
- Barre Public Library, Barre – Tuesday, September 22, 2026, noon- 1:30 pm
The focus groups are limited in size and will be on a first come, first served basis. To participate in either the survey or focus groups, SELECT ONLY ONE OPTION.
