Announcing the Vermont Nonprofit Legal Hub & Nonprofit Legal Needs Survey

In these challenging times for nonprofits, managing legal issues with care can mean the difference between surviving and thriving.

That’s why we’re proud to announce the launch of the Vermont Nonprofit Legal Hub—a new statewide initiative to connect nonprofits with the legal tools, guidance, and networks you need to stay compliant, defend your organizations, and continue serving our communities.

The Hub is a partnership between Common Good Vermont, the United Way of Northwest Vermont, the Vermont Bar Foundation, and the Vermont Law and Graduate School Small Business Law Center with more partners expected to join.

Together, we aim to strengthen the connective tissue between Vermont’s nonprofit sector and the legal community by:

  • Creating a centralized legal resource platform
  • Offering technical assistance, mentorship, and training to nonprofits
  • Building a statewide network of attorneys with nonprofit expertise
  • Developing collaborative, cost-sharing models for legal support

To ensure the VT Nonprofit Legal Hub is built around real needs, we are inviting nonprofits across Vermont to complete a short survey.

We need your input!

Please fill out this brief survey (estimated time 10 minutes or less):

Your voice will help shape the tools and resources we offer.

Together, we can safeguard Vermont’s nonprofit community and strengthen our ability to thrive in challenging times.
