Celebrating the music of Bob Dylan, the band is led by Bob Wagner and includes Ray Paczkowski (Trey Anastasio Band), Clint Bierman and Peter Day (The Grift), Josh Weinstein (Kat Wright), Steve Hadeka, Corey Wilhelm (Bombino), Matt LaRocca (Vermont Symphony Orchestra), and more. Additionally, the night features a variety of very special guests, including Mike Gordon (Phish), Tessa Gordon, Kat Wright, Seth Yacovone, Josh Panda, Dwight & Nicole (Dwight Ritcher and Nicole Nelson), The Sweet Remains, Matt Flinner, Brett Hughes, Matt Hagen, and more to be announced soon.
Hug Your Farmer was established by Select in 2010 as a way to raise money for Pete’s Greens, who’s barn was destroyed by a fire. Since then, Hug Your Farmer has played five other benefit shows, including a live-streamed event during the pandemic featuring performances by Dave Matthews and Grace Potter, and have raised over $120k for Vermont farmers.
The Vermont Community Foundation, through their VT Flood Response & Recovery Fund, has directed over $2 million to Vermonters who have been impacted by this summer’s flooding. 100% of proceeds from the event are donated to the fund. Additionally, a generous friend of the foundation has offered to match donations from the event up to $100k.
