As demand for nonprofit services increases, Vermont’s nonprofit sector employs 1 in 5 workers and contribute about $10 billion per year to the economy through wages paid, retail and wholesale purchases and professional service contracts. Understanding how our sector is changing and evolving is an essential step in planning for what comes next for nonprofits and our communities.
