Common Good Vermont is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for this year’s Nonprofit Training and Consulting Certificate.
Whether you are fostering learning, facilitating conversations, consulting, or engaging community members in Vermont’s evolving nonprofit sector, this program is for you!
This program supports nonprofit consultants, facilitators, and community builders. It is designed for
- employees of nonprofits or public entities who provide training to nonprofit organizations or bring together community members, legislators, or nonprofit professionals to connect, engage, or problem solve and
- independent consultants and/or trainers working with nonprofits or individuals interested in working with nonprofits as a trainer or consultant!
In its second year, this program combines virtual and in-person learning. Participants will engage in live training, cohort learning, peer networking and self-guided work over 4 weeks in May of 2024 fostering discussions and connections across those who support Vermont’s nonprofit sector. Our list of trainers and speakers includes some of Vermont’s leading nonprofit consultants, professionals, and leaders. This year’s program will start on May 8th and will wrap up with a graduation and networking event on May 30th.
Topics covered include, but are not limited to:
- Fostering growth and learning in the nonprofit sector.
- Mediating difficult conversations.
- Supporting and coaching nonprofit executive leaders.
- Growing your fee-for-service offering.
- Expanding your consulting business.
- Discussing current nonprofit trends.
- Building coalitions across different groups and communities.
Applications for the 2024 cohort will be accepted on a rolling basis. Financial assistance is available for eligible participants.
