About the Trainer: Katherine Sims

Katherine Sims is an nonprofit consultant and trainer with over fifteen years of experience working with nonprofit organizations to solve problems and build systems to do good work. As both a practitioner and a consultant, Katherine has experience managing and growing organizations, developing teams, leading fundraising campaigns, and engaging donors, stakeholders, political leaders, and the public. She is a highly engaging facilitator with extensive expertise working with groups. Katherine is committed to social change, equity & building a more just world for all. She enjoys bringing people together to move projects to action and create positive change. 

Katherine graduated from Yale University with a bachelor’s in history. In addition to her consulting practice and serving on several nonprofit boards, Katherine is currently serving in her first term as a Vermont State Representative.
