Rapid change and complexity mean increasing reliance on teams to provide unprecedented solutions and breakthrough innovation. Rarely has the need for collaboration and teamwork been more critical than today and employees are frequently managing the work of multiple teams across departments and projects. Up to 20 percent of employees report working on four or more teams at any one time. Additionally, the framework of teams is increasingly diverse, spread out, and flexible in how and when work gets done.
So, how does a leader build a team? How do leaders hold teams accountable? How do teams handle ineffectiveness and conflict? We address these and other relevant team and organizational success factors in the Building Accountable Teams summit. Important subject areas covered include:
- Growing a Team
- Models for Building Trust
- Tactics for Handling Conflict and Roadblocks
- Action Plans and Goal Attainment
- A Culture of Accountability and more…
This course qualifies for 6 SHRM PDCs (human resources professional development credits).
