Executive Director Job Description
Implement strategic goals and objectives of the organization
Enable Board to fulfill its governance function
Give direction and leadership for achievement of CHIPS
philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives.
Reports to: Executive Board

Responsibilities:
1.     Program, Product and Service Delivery
·       Oversees design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, products and services.
·       Oversees all day-to-day operations
·       Facilitates evaluation of CHIPS programs and activities
2.     Community and Public Relations
·       Assures the mission, programs, and services are consistently
presented in strong, positive images
·       Envisions and manages organizational development
·      Collaborates with community and national organizations to pursue appropriate  partnerships
3.     Fundraising and Resource Development
·       Oversees fundraising including identifying resource needs,  funding sources, grant writing and fundraising documentation.
4.     Board Support
·       Supports operations and administration of Board interfacing between Board and staff
·       Communicates with co-chairs and other executive board members for oversight of  operations and long-range planning
·       In collaboration with Executive Board develops and implements sustainability options
5.     Financial, Tax, Risk and Facilities Management
·       Recommends yearly budget for Board approval and manages organization’s resources within those budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations
·       Oversees financial management and budget with Treasurer
6.     Human Resource Management
·       Effectively manages human resources according to personnel policies and procedures conforming to HR laws and regulations
Qualifications:
·       Three-five years in nonprofit administration, preferably in a leadership role
·       Passion for mission of healthy youth development
·       Community collaboration experience, understanding of local community desirable
·       Experience procuring, writing and managing grants and other resource development
·       Visionary, detail-oriented; highly organized self-starter
·       Team player – able to work collaboratively with youth and adults to build strong teams
