The responsibilities of this position include the preparation and serving of food to students during breakfast and lunch; clean and sterilize utensils, machines, and other equipment used during food preparation; ensure that students are served appropriate portion sizes, and store and handle food in safe ways. The position also requires Servsafe certification every 5 years and professional development annually. Other tasks include using Mealtime software and point of sales system, food ordering, inventory, menu creation/consultation, money collection/deposits in accordance with established practices. The position is for 7 hours per day for all school days. Paid holidays and additional training/preparation days are added to this position. Full benefits and paid time off are also part of the position.
