The merger between Center for New Leadership (CNL) and Common Good Vermont (CGVT) creates a singular, statewide “one-stop shop” for nonprofit professional development that integrates both organizations’ strengths while offering a seamless set of services for Vermont mission-driven organizations. CNL and CGVT are asking Vermont nonprofits to help plan how we can best serve Vermont’s mission-driven sector. “Since Center for New Leadership and Common Good Vermont were founded 10 years ago, our sector has grown from 2,700 501c3 public charities to over 4,600 with over 62,000 employees and 17.9% of the jobs in Vermont. Post-merger, the Sector Survey gives nonprofits a voice in the future of our work as we determine how we can best serve our mission-driven sector. Every nonprofit voice matters.” –

Morgan Webster Common Good VT Program Director

As the sector continues to grow, Center for New Leadership and Common Good Vermont intend to integrate the strengths of both organizations in order to support the state’s nonprofit industry. The Nonprofit Sector Survey coupled with a series of direct listening events will give industry professionals an opportunity to weigh in on support services and how best to move the sector forward.

Thank you in advance for your time and support.
